Its inaugural release by Mochakk, ‘Respirando’, was instrumental in propelling the Brazilian electronic music phenomenon to international recognition. Now, the label is marking a powerful relaunch, closing out the year with Volume 1 of a new compilation series spotlighting the brightest rising talent in Brazil’s electronic scene. Hand-selected by Mochakk - each volume will give a platform to the country’s most forward-thinking DJs and producers, reaffirming MOTRAXX as a home for adventurous, club-driven music.
MOTRAXX Volume 1 brings together a group of producers whose cutting-edge sound is shaping Brazil’s underground while resonating on dancefloors worldwide. Driven by infectious rhythms and high-impact club momentum, the compilation channels a distinctly Brazilian flair refined for international appeal. Across its five tracks curated by Mochakk, each with the unique DNA of each artist, the compilation spotlights rising DJs and producers who are rapidly breaking through beyond Brazil’s borders: Duarte, Pricila Diaz, Linkage, QUANT, Jame C, Calácio, and Cesar Nardini. At the centre of the release is ‘Concentrate’ by Duarte: an energetic, acid-tinged club weapon defined by tight percussion, hypnotic tension, and a signature groove, serving as a clear statement of direction for the renewed label.
Before releasing ‘Concentrate’, Duarte had already established himself as one of the rising talents in Brazil’s new Tech House generation, earning support from industry heavyweights such as Mochakk, Marco Carola, and Pete Tong.
